Version 01.10.02

Hotcakes Commerce 1.9.0 is Ready for you!

In this release, we found a few showstoppers reported to us by some of you.  In short, certain flavors of Authorize.Net would validate the payment information differently than others, and the tax provider would cause orders to not complete under certain conditions.  We've fixed all of that for you.  Please upgrade ASAP to address these issues.

Version 1.10.02: Updates to Authorize.Net & Tax Provider

We have another release right around the corner that our partners are looking at too.  Once they're done kicking the tires, we'll have a TON of awesome sauce to talk to you about.  In the meantime, we hope these updates help you all with your site.

Prerequisites

As always, please test your upgrades on a development version of your site first. Be sure to back-up prior to upgrade, and merge any noted viewset changes as desired. We are not responsible for any Hotcakes that get spilled on the floor.

Download: Install/Upgrade

Our existing on premise clients will need to submit a support request to get the latest installation/upgrade package.

Bug Fixes

  • 25492 - SI: Authorize.Net transaction fails for international transactions w/ only non-shipping items
  • 25456 - SI: Ability to get from Avalara TAX added to Order not only TAX included
  • 25423 - Additional defensive checks for tax providers

Viewset Changes

This release doesn't have any viewset changes, but you should always perform a comparison of your viewset to the default viewset anyway to ensure that you have any desired updates from prior releases.

In the very least, you should always review the Cart, Checkout, CSS, and JavaScript updates when there are any. These are areas that can directly affect how well your store is performing.  Also, we add text for messages that your customers see from time to time, which you'll find in the "resx" files in your viewset.
