CategoryProductAssociationDTO Object

Overview

The REST API makes extensive use of the CategoryProductAssociationDTO object whenever working with a single category.  This article will help you to know the various members of this object.

CategoryProductAssociationDTO

The CategoryProductAssociationDTO object will contain all of the details of a single category/product association for your Hotcakes Commerce store.

Members

The following table gives you details on the various members of the CategoryProductAssociationDTO object.  The descriptions are based upon default functionality and the default Viewset included with Hotcakes.

Member Default Description
CategoryId (empty string) The unique ID of the category to associate to the product.
Id 0 The unique ID or primary key of the category product association.
ProductId (empty string) The unique ID of the product to associate to the category.
SortOrder 0 Defines the order in which the associations appear. This is populated for you upon creation.
StoreId 0 This is the ID of the Hotcakes store. Typically, this is 1, except in multi-tenant environments.
