There are a large number of places where you might find a payment status displayed to merchants and/or customers. This article aims at helping you to define what the different status stages are.
|Unknown||Something unexpected has happened and a payment status was unable to be determined. If you ever see this, you may need to contact support.|
|Unpaid||The order has not yet had any payments applied.|
|Partially Paid||At least one payment has been applied to the order, but more payments remain.|
|Paid||The entire expected payment amount for the order has been made.|
|Overpaid||The order has a higher amount of payments applied than what the order requires. The order likely requires a refund to be applied.|
