Hotcakes caches store information to speed up browsing for your customers. With caching, you can have the most recent data available such as indexed information for the product search or information. An example of when you might want to consider using this view is after making changes that might affect a heavily cached view, such as the drill down category view.
The following prerequisites will be necessary to accomplish the goals of this article:
- Have access to your Hotcakes store administration
- Have an understanding of the scope when clearing the cache

The Caching section from the Settings menu is where you can clear store cache.
Click the "Clear Store Cache" button to clear your store’s cache. This clears cache on the store-level only. If you have multiple stores on the same software instance, this will not affect those stores.
If you're trying to see changes applied to specific page, you may need to first refresh the page if you have it opened in your browser. Your updates may not be seen until then.
