Settings: Geo Location

Overview

The Geo Location page sets up the time zone and currency for your store. It helps to display the proper dates and times based on the customer and merchant’s location.

The following prerequisites will be necessary to accomplish the goals of this article:

• Have access to your Hotcakes store administration

There are no prerequisites to follow along with this article.

Geo Location

Click the Settings menu item and then click Geo Location.

The Geo Location page has two settings.

Setting	Description
Time Zone	Choose the local time zone for your store. This time zone is used to display dates and times for merchants and customers.
Culture / Currency	Choose the country and currency settings for your store. The currency is the currency that the store will accept for orders and payment methods (unless the payment method has settings to override this setting). It also formats currency in the various views that merchants and customers will see.

Click Save Changes to save the configuration.
