Shipping Status

There are a large number of places where you might find a shipping status displayed to merchants and/or customers.  Shipping status can be displayed at both the order and individual line item levels.  This article aims at helping you to define what the different status stages are.

Status Description
Unknown Something unexpected has happened and a shipping status was unable to be determined. If you ever see this, you may need to contact support.
Unshipped Either line item or the order has not yet had anything shipped.
Partially Shipped At least one of the total quantity in the line item or order has been shipped, but more shipments remain.
Fully Shipped All of the expected shipments for the line item or order have been made.
Non-Shipping The line item or order doesn't have any expected shipments to be made.  This is common for virtual or digital products, such as software, downloads, and memberships.
